I began aikido in Pornic (Loire Atlantique) at the age of 23. I had the opportunity of co-organising and participating in the summer seminars directed by Master Kobayashi Hirokazu in the Nantes region from 1990 to 1994.
Thanks to the trust conferred on me by Cognard Shihan, I taught in Arthon en Retz and Machecoul from 1995 on, the year I obtained my kurai ichi (or shodan). In 1998 I participated in the creation of the Océanne Académie Régionale d’Aikido (OARA) in order to organize the seven clubs in this region.
I began the l’Ecole de Formation à l’Enseignement Supérieur de l’Académie Autonome d’Aikido Kobayashi Hirokazu in 1999.
After eleven years of teaching in Brittany, I settled in the Cantal region (15) in Aurillac where I created a club in 2007, the year I had the grade of kurai go (or godan) conferred on me.
I have never ceased transmitting the values of Kobayashi Aikido in weekly lessons, seminars and courses that I direct in France , Ireland. and in India.
« The succession of generations is a fundamental element for Humanity sustainability. I consider myself as a link between these generations by transmitting the Budo. The recognition and loyalty to my Master involves the recognition of those who have been prior to me. I must prepare for the future and transmit Aikido Kobayashi Ryu, its ethics as well as its techniques to the next generation. It is such a tremendous blessing to witness such an evolution. »
